I think many of you have tried to search for your favourite celebs using the most popular

and may have noticed that so as to get to the full size image one has to click two times first

on the thumbnail and then on the full size image link. This process is really time taking process

if you want to download many images.Here are few solutions I have come across to overcome

You can use Netvue which I have already written an article about it.

Girl(google image re linker) which is a firefox addon. This will let you click the thumbnail images on images.google.com, skip the referred framed page, and jump straight to the full-size image.

Leecher 2.0 is an app which lets you directly download the full size images. Copy and paste search results page url(http://images.google.co.in/images?svnum=10&hl=en&imgsz=xxlarge&gbv=2&q=priyanka+chopra&btnG=Search+Images)under url in leecher and click get select the images you would like to download the images from and click on the download button.

I have already written few ways by which you can get the URL of the songs from imeem in my previous posts.Now I will let you know the procedure to download music from Dishant which is a very huge repository of bollywood songs ;-

Go to dishant and browse to your fav song.Don't do the mistake of left clicking on it ,instead right click on it and select Open Link in New Tab.

Navigate to the window and select Tools->Page info->Media info.Move down until you find type as embed select and click Save As.

Burn a dvd movie to a vcd using Nero

First Copy the contents of the dvd movie files(.vob) to a folder on your hdd.

In explorer->View->Folder Options->View-> Uncheck hide file extensions for known file types.

Now navigate to the folder containing your movie files and change the extension of them from .vob to .mpg.

Using nero select vcd and add the files and click next.

Nero will convert the files to vcd format which will take about 20-30mins and burns the files to an empty cd.

About Sandboxie

When you run a program on your computer, data flowsfrom the hard disk to the program via read operations.The data is then processed and displayed, and finallyflows back from the progam to the hard disk via writeoperations.

For example, if you run the Freecell program to play agame, it starts by reading the previously recordedstatistics, displaying and altering them as you play thegame, and finally writing them back to disk for futurereference.

Sandboxie changes the rules such that write operationsdo not make it back to your hard disk.

The illustration shows the key component of Sandboxie: a transient storage area, or sandbox. Data flows in both directions between programs and the sandbox. During read operations, data may flow from the hard disk into the sandbox. But data never flows back from the sandbox into the hard disk.

How to fold the paper case:

1. Fold the left and right sides (lines labelled “1″ and “2″).

2. Fold the bottom edge up to the line labelled “3″. Then fold it back. This part will be the pocket.

3. Fold the top edge down to the line labelled “4″ and then fold it back. Then fold the top edge down the the line labelled “5″ and then fold it back. This will make the spine and top flap.

I have found a way of downloading music found on imeem to Hdd as mp3.

Using Firefox

Install Tamper Data addon.

Activate the addon by navigating to Tools->Tamper Data

Now login to imeem and play the song which you want to download.

After a few seconds of playing you can close or stop playing.

Now in the Tamper Data filter box type .flv you will find a line of code as shown in fig below,right click on it and click on Copy

Paste it in notepad, it should look like as shown below

Copy the link found in the notepad.

Using Media-convert you can convert to mp3 and download it on your hdd(set the parameters as shown below )

The converted mp3 file will have 128kbit,44100Hz,Joint Stereo(I mean to say that it will have good quality)

Way2:Download music from imeem

I have already written an article about the procedure to download music from imeem and convert it to mp3.

One of the reader commented named franky suggested his site which allows you to grab the link to the .flv file when you paste the link to the music file on imeem.

Go to imeem and play the song which you would like to download

e.g.,http://profile.imeem.com/GRblaT/music/qyOghpra/jaage_hain/

Now goto frankyonline and paste the link to the song from imeem and click Download button.

You will get a link to the file which is in .flv format bcoz all the mp3s uploaded to imeem are converted to .flv

e.g.,http://cache03.scl1.imeem.com/g/m/4c8812a8e1896e0a280e72a6dd441e92.flv

Now so as to convert the .flv file to .mp3 goto media-convert paste the .flv file linkand checkURL it will auto recognize the input file format as .flv and now set the OutPut format as .mp3.Check I accept the terms and click convert after few secs you will be with a link to .mp3 file.

e.g.,http://w5.media-convert.com/convert/?xid=bkcdcyxr

The converted mp3 file will have 128kbps ,stereo quality which is usually a good quality to listen.

You can also upload video/audio files to your account folder, the uploaded file whether it maybe a video/audio of any format to .flv and allows you to view/hear/(you can even embed the audio/video in you site/blog) the audio/video file using its inbuilt .flv player .The user can create any number of folders in his account and has share with all the people or a group of people or keep it private so that only you can view the files.The user can provide information about the file and also give it tags so that when other users can easily find it and download.Just like in windows explorer you can view the contents either in Details/ List/thumbnail/slideshows(you can view the uploaded photos/images as slideshows) add a file to your favourites and also view the number of times the files has been downloaded and many more options.

The main drawbacks are that it doesn't provide you with real time upload bar(like rapidshare) specifying you the number of bytes uploaded / bytes to be uploaded/time elapses/time remaining.Also the download speeds are very very slow.The uploaded audio/video is converted to .flv format even you cant your original file you which you have uploaded instead you will download the flv file which is very very low in quality.You cant hot link the files uploaded.

So at last I will rate it 3/5 and with a worth trying comment.

Did you know that you can download mp3, video and other files from almost any website with just a little effort ? All you need is Firefox, the Firefox extension Firebug and a download manager. This knowledge is especially helpful if the tools you normally use to download videos, mp3 or flash games does not work on a website.

Firebug is actually a great web development extension for Firefox which does also list all objects that are loaded with their full url on the server. I suppose you are already seeing where this is going, huh ? You just have to take a look at the objects and filter out the largest files which are most of the time the media files. Copy the url from that file and paste it into your download manager to download the mp3, video or other media file.

Let me give you an example on how to download a mp3 right from myspace. Make sure you have the firebug extension installed.

Visit myspace.com and click on a band’s website, e.g. http://myspace.com/theused

Open Firebug by pressing F12

Play a song

Check the NET tab in Firebug and search for the biggest file

Copy the location of that file (by right-clicking it) and paste it into your download manager.

Rename the file and give it the right file extension, in this case .mp3

This method can be used on almost every other site that offers media files. Want some examples ? Gametrailers, Myspace, Youtube, Armor Games and many more. It is not working with sites that stream content to your PC (like Internet Radio but all others should be fine.)

The eleven digits of both upper and lower cased alpha-numeric video identification code is used to watch videos via YouTube’s website or embed them into other websites.

To download the videos via KeepVid or similar sites, the eleven digit video identification code is still useful, but in case of KeepVid crashes, user has to “kick it old school style” by reading YouTube video’s page source.

Here is a way to open a folder in windows os using run.

Create a shortcut to your desired folder which you would like to open using the run.

Rename the created shortcut to something easy to rememeber
